TOGETHER WITH

Good morning, Wichita!

Every 4th of July, there is one tradition unlike any other.

No, I'm not talking about fireworks. I'm talking about the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest.

16x Champ Joey Chestnut was banned this year for opting to eat a vegan dog rather than the all-American beef dog.

NEWS

Champtown Addition

Lange Real Estate is not messing around in Park City.

First they buy out the arena formerly known as Hartman Arena.

Today they will be breaking ground on a massive $500 million, 16o-acre mixed-use project called Champtown Addition that will consist of:

  • 180-room hotel
  • 132,000 sq ft of retail space with restaurants, big-box retail, and multi-sport facility with baseball and softball fields
  • 78,100 sq-ft non-profit aquarium operated by OdySea
  • 20,000 sq-ft rainforest-inspired butterfly conservatory

TOGETHER WITH NBC WORLD SERIES

There are a few iconic events in Wichita.

The NBC World Series is one of the biggest.

Every year, collegiate and semi-pro baseball players come from all over to compete in the legendary and historic tournament.

There is a lot to be excited about with the NBC World Series, but there is one thing that throws me back to my childhood:

Baseball ‘Round The Clock.

That’s right.

33 hours. 11 Straight Games. Starts July 27th.

Can you survive?

They come up with a solution.

3 Wichitans and a former Wichitan (Aaron Courtney, Andy Braselton, Eric Wilson, and Nathan Doty) just came up with The Kanga - “a baby stability pouch that securely attaches to shopping carts, wagons, restaurant high chairs and more.”

Someone call Mr. Wonderful and Shark Tank, just kidding I'm more of a Mark Cuban guy.
