Cyber Attack Update
Quick update from the city following the cyber attack
The City of Wichita announced today that progress continues to be made in recovering systems following the recent cyber event.
Progress as of Monday 6/17:
- Library: Self-check in of materials and credit card processing systems at the Advanced Learning Library are still offline, but all other resident-facing library systems are back in service;
- Airport: Flight information screens are back online at Eisenhower National Airport;
- Municipal Court: The walk-in docket has resumed with normal sign-up times from 7:00 am to 7:30am. Get updates directly from the city here
- All other resident-facing systems are now back in service.

Syd the Kid and Athletes Unlimited
Athletes Unlimited is an organization that helps continue the athletic careers for many athletes.
WSU Softball Alum Superstar Sydney McKinney helped bring AUX softball to Wichita State over the last couple weeks and she showed out jsut like when she was a Shocker.
These games have also had sellouts at Wilkins Stadium.

The “Give to Girls” challenge is coming up 7/29 - 8/9!
Girls on the Run Heart of Kansas will award over 30,00 in scholarship opportunities for the girls that we serve! There are multiple ways to get involved. Check it out to learn more!
