Tourism Grant
Mega Pines is a mini golf course coming to (east) Andover at 1802 SW Highway 54. The course itself is opening in May, but family fun is ready now.
Mark Arts was also awarded $50k grant from the same organization.
ChickNMax
It’s an inside joke how many chicken spots we have in Wichita. And car washes, but that is a separate story.
ChickNMax is looking to become the GO-TO chicken place in 50 locations across six states as they expand.
New Apartments
The luxury apartment market downtown has been heating up lately.
A new incentive package was just approved to bring more apartments to fulfill the future demand from the new Biomedical Campus that is currently under construction.
Wednesday at 2pm, Wichita celebrated the dedication and ribbon-cutting for a new public parkway in Delano (located NW of Douglas and Seneca intersection) called Chisholm Trail Parkway.
The abandoned railway corridor is now a dog park, linear park, walking path, and bike path. Future plans include a special needs playground.
