How low is Cheney Lake (the main source of water for the Wichita area?)
It is nearly 8 feet (or 1 Hagrid) below normal.
Here are some tips on how to save water indoor as well.
Ramp Closed
Beware, the ramp from northbound I-235 to westbound K-96 will be closed starting tomorrow (originally scheduled for last week) until early October.

Drone Light Festival
The 2024 Drone Light Festival is THIS WEEKEND (9/20- 9/22) at Exploration Place and you do NOT want to miss it.
Tickets are sold out for some times, but be sure to go check them out asap.
Wild Lights Tickets
Wild Lights (one of our favorite events of the year) is coming back 10/16 - 12/22.
If you are a member at Sedgwick County Zoo, you have early access to the pre-sale and get your tickets from 9/7 - 9/22 (and save up to $5 per ticket).

Fairways for Futures
The Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Kansas is an incredible organization that truly changes lives.
