I like to think we have a great community of great people in Wichita.

Unfortunately, there are always a couple bad apples. Like those that stole from the food pantry for the Wichita non-profit Children 1st.

If you'd like to help Children 1st replenish their pantry, they need all the help they can get.

Color Run

Back by popular demand! Wear your white shirt, lace up your sneakers, and prepare to get color-bombed during this 1 mile run. Join the fun and get covered in colors at The Color Run tomorrow 9/14 at Edgemoor Park.

Free to run (join the City Crew today)! BUT you need to be pre-registered for the City Crew PRIOR to the run! They will NOT be taking onsite registration!

What is City Crew?

City Crew is a kids club for those 12 & under offered by the City of Wichita mascots:

Fire Department: Sparky
Police Department: Sgt. Justice
Park & Rec: Barry
Library: Webster
Public Works: Beeatrice

Kiddos do have to register to be a part of this kids club but great news, it's FREE! Just head over and register today!

TOGETHER WITH LEARNING LAB WICHITA

The Grand Opening Celebration for Learning Lab Wichita is this Saturday, Sept. 14 from 10am to 2pm at the brand new location in Union Station and I mean it when I say this space is going to change Wichita for the better!

Learning Lab Wichita is an exciting new initiative that seeks to transform the educational landscape by giving kids a chance to learn in their own way, not everyone else’s.

This weekend is a chance come to a FREE family friendly event and learn about everything Learning Lab has to offer.

The only thing that would make this video better is seeing the space filled with kids.

This event is come and go from 10 a.m.-2 p.m and is Free, Fun, and Family Friendly.

Wichita Wagonmasters will be grilling lunch and we will have additional sweet treats

A band out of Nashville came to Wichita to perform at the Cotillion before their trailer with over $20k of equipment was stolen.

It has since been found by Wichita PD.

Tickets go on sale today at 10am for the Broadway in Wichita musical The Book of Mormon which will come to Century II February 14-16, 2025.
