NEWS

RIP Crazy Mike

Growing up in the Wichita area, we would hear the names of famous people from Wichita like Barry Sanders, Lynette Woodard, etc.

There was also Crazy Mike who may have been more famous or at least more intriguing due to the mystery.

Michael Lee “Crazy Mike” Wolfberg was a man who would wonder the east side of Wichita, often around Towne East or Rock Road, on foot or on his Moped.

He was a mystery and almost an urban legend to some people.

Over on reddit, people have been sharing stories about him as it was just posted on the “Crazy Mike Sightings” Facebook group by his sister Kerri that he passed. You can read her post here.

“Crazy Mike” was a special part of Wichita. RIP.

Gianna’s Review:

“I don’t think the pictures (especially on a cell phone) do justice to the fantastic work that was done. The spotting on my neck and chest aren’t highlighted but I am incredibly pleased with the results on all three. This is after only two sessions! Thank you to Kaitlyn and the Kansas Plastic Surgery center for making me look great and feel younger!”

Water Restrictions

While we’re talking about water, the City of Wichita will increase enforcement around the Stage 2 water restrictions.

When Stage 2 restrictions first went into affect, water usage dropped from 74 million gallons a day to 55 MGD and then crept back up to 64 MGD two weeks ago.

The Cheney Reservoir is sitting at less than 59% full and less than 67% of the 12-month average (which is what the Stage restricitons are based on.
