Eventful Weekend

September and October is a very busy time of year in Wichita.

If you want to host an event, it better be a good one because there are already so many to choose from. You can find a more comprehensive list of events below, but here are a few to choose from:

  • Nomar Eatz - TONIGHT 9/27 at Nomar Plaza - get ready for amazing, authentic food and great vibes
  • Downtown Wagonmasters Chili Cook-off - Saturday 9/28 and kicks off at high noon - This is one of my favorite downtown events. There are always a ton of people downtown. You can fill up on a very cheap tasting kit and it is just a great time.
  • PROST Oktoberfest - 9/26 - 9/28 - Oktoberfest is here people!

TOGETHER WITH WSU - SHOCKTOBERFEST

Shocktoberfest has been Wichita State’s annual fall celebration of Shocker Spirit and Pride since 1991.

This multi-day series features events, activities, and competitions for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and our Wichita community.

Families are also invited to take part in Shocktoberfest activities and join us October 4 & 5 for Family Weekend.

Free to attend!
