The Blue Angels and the air show did not disappoint on Saturday. It was hot out and since we have little ones who arenβt particularly fond of extremely loud noises, we watched from afar (we sat in the parking lot along Kellogg in front of Towne East).
Unfortunately for those that planned for Sunday, the predictably unpredictable Kansas weather had other plans.
Storms came through and caused downed power lines, tree limbs, tents to go flying, and planes flipping which all led to a ~9:45am cancellation of all the days activities.
