The pandemic changed a LOT in our lives, including the downtowns of many beloved cities.

Wichita recently ranked #9 among US metros and #1 in the Midwest region for its recovery in our core.

This is based on GPS data from 18+ million smartphones in North America. We’re up to 89% of our 2019 levels.

Maybe we should just host a Chili Cookoff or Octoberfest once a month, who’s with me?

TOGETHER WITH DONDLINGER CONSTRUCTION

What do Exploration Place, Koch Arena, the new North Junction Ramp, the Epic Center and the Keeper of the Plains all have in common?

(besides being some of the most eye-catching pieces of Wichita)

They were all built by 125-year-old Dondlinger Construction.

For over a century, Dondlinger has continued constructing buildings and structures that improve our city and our lives.

Rain

Anyone else remember to build their ark before the flooding a few days ago?

Wichita broke some records on Wednesday including 4.17 inches of rain (a little less than our northeast neighbors in Emporia who got 9.4 inches 🤯).

This should help improve the our drought conditions, although how much is to be determined.

Some people didn’t enjoy the rain quiet as much.
