Best Place to Move

Wichita is on a lot of “best” and “worst” lists.

Worst in the nation for allergies, but one of the BEST places to move in the US.

We are sandwiched between OKC and Colorado Springs.

This is based on a few factors like median monthly housing costs, employment rate, average sunny days per year, crime rate per 1000 residents and more.

This positive publicity comes on the heels of the WBJ Talent Summit that discussed how we can retain and bring talent to Wichita.

50 Years of Junior Golf

I am not a golfer whatsoever. According to google, the average handicap for men is 14.2 - you might need to double or triple that for me, but that’s besides the point…

I can appreciate we have a lot of golf resources in Wichita, such as the Wichita Junior Golf Foundation that is celebrating 50 YEARS of teaching golf to young people in Wichita!

Over 26,000 young people have participated in this program since its first year when 400 boys and girls participated.

The Wichita City Council has officially approved the moola behind the renovation coming to the Orpheum which are expected to cost ~$9 million.
